Backed with over 10 years of musical experiences, Nozomi Nakamura aka Ancient Beach loves creating atmospheric melodies built on driving basslines bringing smiles on the dancefloor for the rising light of the morning.
All these elements harmoniously intertwine with each other and fuse into emotional story.
As one of the leading artists of the Japanese Psytrance scene, he played at hundreds of club events in Tokyo area and outdoor parties throughout Japan, like in October 2008 when he played at the huge Nagisa festival in front of Fuji TV building, at Odaiba, Tokyo. Furthermore, his first live at an outdoor psytrance gathering in New York was a huge success.
His long-awaited debut album has been released on Morphonic Records in 2007.
A new Digital EP has been released also on Morphonic records end of 2008.
Recently Ancient Beach released a new morning gem on Psychofluid3 compilation of DJ TOLTEK, and another track on digital compilation Psychedelic Traveller from Plusquam records.

一曲の製作に長い時間を費やす彼のサウンドは、優しくも美しい幻想的なメロディーラインと計算し尽されたストーリー展開が特徴で、攻撃的でドライブ力溢れるベースラインが、アグレッシブに交差して行く。壮大な空間を多用した立体的且つ流線的なサウンドは、聞く者を遥か古代の大地へと誘い、他とは一線を画す新たなサイケデリック空間へと導くであろう。
